What Insurance Plans Qualify For HSA?

HSA Limits Rise Modestly, IRS Says

This rule applies to distributions made after June 17, 2008, if the plan has been amended to allow these distributions. Your employer must report the distribution as wages on your Form W-2 for the year in which the distribution is made. FSAs don’t require a special healthcare plan to enroll, so they might be a better option than HSAs for individuals without high-deductible health plans. You are permitted to take a distribution from your Archer MSA at any time; however, only those amounts used exclusively to pay for qualified medical expenses are tax free. IRS Announces 2019 Health Savings Account Limits

2019 HSA contribution limits will increase to $3,500 for single (an increase of $50) and $7,000 for family (an increase of $100).
